I gotta say, this was the fun part.
Brainstorming our company name started early on. We knew from the beginning we did not want anything lingerie-ish. Some of the ones we played with were:
Trust us, there were plenty more, but they’re just too embarrassing to put up here now that I’m looking back.
We were set on Mint for a very long time. Mint is cool. It’s refreshing. It spoke to us. Then we started looking at slang words for breasts and here’s what urban dictionary told us:

This list was obviously created by some 18-year-old frat bro. While we weren’t looking to name our company Meat Puppets, “twins” stuck out to us. How could we play off the fact that we’re twins and “the twins”? Our oldest sister eventually suggested “twinks” and after googling it, we realized we needed an alternative spelling, (see PSA). Therefore, Twinnks!
Luckily, our other sister is very creative so she created the logo. The logo we ended up choosing was one of the first ones she did. We just kept coming back to it, but not before making her design a ton. She rocked it, right?
